In June we celebrated 14 years of marriage.This particular celebration felt really significant because we have faced both, some of the greatest challenges and the best kinds of victories since moving overseas. Like planting tiny seeds that seem to go hidden - we formed many little habits that in the moment don’t feel like very much but overtime produce much growth.
As we celebrated this past June we also felt the Lord bring more vision to old dreams.
Throughout the years when talking about ministry and what we felt drawn to we were always taken back to our own beginning. When we met we were mentored by an older couple and what we gained from that time was invaluable. We have always said what if we could provide that kind of mentoring for other couples before they go into marriage.
So this year we started going through a training to become certified to do pre-marital mentoring. We finished the course a few weeks ago and are excited about the opportunites to come from it!
We learned that couples who go through some type of pre-marital counseling or mentorship have a 30% .
